→  THE COTTAGES.

Kapoho Bed and Breakfast offers three independantly standing cottages. You have your choice of a standard 300 sf Mariner cottage which sports a full sized bed, and a full shower?bath tub in the spacious bathroom. Both of the larger cottages are a roomy 460 sf. One has a queen sized bed with a sofa and writing desk and the other has two queen sized beds. Both deluxe cottages are also handicapped friendly and have very large open air lanais for watching our colorful sunrises.

Each cottage is free standing with a minimum distance of 20 feet between cottages. The cottages are connected by 250 feet of covered walkway to the breakfast pavillion.

Why is this important to you? PRIVACY No hearing bumptity bumps in the night from an attached room that one usually encounters at a normal Bed and Breaksfast's. ALSO to insure further privacy all the windows have been double paned to allow you to have freedom of expression without disturbing your neighbors, or vice versa.

There is a constant bounty of limes, tangeines, oranges, lemons, bananas and tangeloes to complement Kenny's trademark fritata omelette made with garden fresh herbs and vegetables.

PRICES

INTRODUCTORY PRICES: Double Occupancy

• Standard Cottage - $65 per night
(2 people)

• Deluxe Cottages - $85 per night
(2 people)

For each additional person there will be $10 per night charge per person. Four maximum occupants for the Standard Cottage and for the Deluxe Cottages.

Kapoho Bed and Breakfast requires a three night minimum stays with a maximum of thirty days. If you have need to stay only one of two nights there will be a $40 cleaning fee.

In additional to the above prices Hawaii State room tax of 11.42% will be attached to the final total.

The Breakfast!

Your host Kenny Parrish has groomed and landscaped this five acre ranch for over 20 years.

Kapoho Bed and Breakfast had a bumper crop of seven varieties of mangoes this past year.

There is a constant bounty of limes, tangeines, oranges, lemons, bananas and tangeloes to complement Kenny's trademark fritata omelette made with garden fresh herbs and vegetables.

Coffee and tea and toast round out your morning send off to your day in paradise.

What we Provide

•We clean and change your linens and room weekly. If you find you need extra towels or linens, we do exchange dirty for clean as needed.

•You will be provided with one coffee pot makings and two complimentary waters per person to start you off. As breakfast is served in the breakfast pavillion.

•Pahoa is the nearest town which boasts a mom and pop store, a full service grocery store, an amazing health food store and a Longs drug store for your shopping convenience.

•As you past through Hilo on your way to Kapoho there is a Walmart, Safeway, and several other full service grocery stores where you can purchase your food supplies.

Cirrus Camembert- from a great little cheese maker in port Townsend that Jim and I helped launch, Caveman Blue from Rogue Creamery on of Jim’s favorite cheese makers, Crackers from my friend Antonio in Seattle, Salome from my friends at Columbus in S.F., Salome plate made in my stores seafood market and fudge from my favorite fudge maker Krisitne. Kapoho B & B Policies.

•All of our cottages are smoke free. You may however smoke on the covered walkways or for the deluxe cottages you can enjoy your large open back lanai.

•We refuse to allow disruptive, loud or rude behavior toward your guests, other guests or your host. We try to treat everyone with ALOHA and we expect the same from our guests in return. We also respect other people's right to a good nights sleep by observing quiet times from 10 pm to 7 am.

•REFUND POLICY

•Because we are a small and limited spaced facility whereby a cancellation can mean a severe monetary setback, we have to protect our business with the following policy.

We require full payment upon reserving your cottage. Refunds will be given only with 30 days written notice prior to check in date, less a $50 processing fee.
